So, you and your girls are looking for the perfect oasis in order to get away from the havoc in your everyday lives. Girl, so are we. It may have been a while since you were able to escape the chaos since most BAUCE women just don’t have those kinds of hours in the day. We’re often so caught up with work and the lives we have at home that we may forget that we have to take time out for ourselves. Whatever the reason may be, gather a few of your closest girls, book a hotel, and purchase a flight. You seriously only live once and you don’t have to go far either to experience a piece of paradise. Here are our suggestion for cities in (and near) North America that we think would be the perrrrrfect place for you and your girls to relax, refresh, and rejuvenate.
1. Mexico City, Mexico
Need I say more? Mexico City is the home to many tourist attractions such at the historic Templo Mayor and the beautiful Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral. With Mexico itself attracting over 6,000,000 people a year, Mexico City is one of the many gems this country has preserved.
2. Vancouver, B.C., Canada
Vancouver is one of Canada’s most highly populated cities located on the mainland of British Columbia. It has a diverse community of over 600,000 people and is home to the infamous Grouse Mountain, a lodge a ski resort.
3. Sante Fe, New Mexico
Santa Fe, New Mexico is largely known for its historic and cultural influences. It is the home to some of the most beautiful architecture. Canyon Road is one of their most visited tourist attractions. In its past life, it was on old trading route leading to a small community of Pecos. Along the road, you will find many paintings and sculptures with a southwestern flair, most of which are for show or sale.
4. New York City, New York
We obviously couldn’t create this list without including the Big Apple. New York City is the city for dreamers. It would make the perfect spot for you and your squad to explore new adventures.
5. Chicago, Illinois
Chicago, or the go as some would call it, is a diamond in the rough. While some areas are not the safest, don’t let that steer you away from giving this place a chance. Downtown Chicago gives you an experience like no other and the people are quite friendly, believe it or not.
6. Quebec City, Canada
There are many things you can do in the large city of Quebec. Quebec holds a huge winter carnival annually called Carnival De Quebec. It is a huge hit and many people travel out of state each year to enjoy it.
7. Las Vegas, Nevada
Now, if you’re not interested in hitting up The Strip or even just witnessing some of the uniquely built and themed palaces throughout Las Vegas—something is wrong with you! The saying ‘what happens in Vegas, stayssss in Vegas’ may be true, but you won’t know until you go! A fun way to explore this city with your girlfriends is to rent a limo and explore the town. 8. Kingston, Jamaica
The city of Kingston is huge contrast to the surrounding towns. While everything here may seem to be fast paced, the surrounding ares are described as being very chill and relaxed. Kingston is in the perfect location to experience both.
9. Los Angeles, California
Really, what isn’t there to love about Los Angeles? It’s a large city in southern California with a population of over 3,000,000 people. Venice Beach is a huge hit in LA as well as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. There are plenty of things to do in this city!
10. Atlanta, Georgia
Atlanta is huge city with so much to offer. There is a plethora of history just waiting to be found and explored. If you get a chance to go to Atlanta, take a visit through Martin Luther King’s birth home. Tours are free and are on a first-come first-serve basis.
11. Labadee, Haiti
Located in the Caribbean, Labadee, Haiti is a port in the northern coast of the country. You and your girls will write me personally after visiting the tropical paradise. There are plenty of things to do on this island form swimming to canoeing.
12. New Orleans, Louisiana
Located along the Mississippi River, New Orleans has a long history of having a vivacious night life. The southern food is huge hit down there, you’ll find a variety of different restaurants showcasing their renditions of ‘soul food’. Mardi Gras is also very popular and takes place in the spring of each year.
