Here is it ladies…the moment we’ve all been waiting for: Fall. The season when leaves turn beautiful shades of oranges, reds, and browns. Pumpkin spices lattes from Starbucks run our pockets, but most importantly the beautiful, stylish fashion trends for fall 2012.
Transitioning from summer fashion to Fall fashion isn’t easy especially when Mother Nature can’t seem to make up her mind about the weather, but these Fall fashion trends help make it a little bit easier.
Make a Bold Statement: Yep, I said it. Ditch those dark grays, those neutral tones, and gloomy browns for royal blues, oranges, and shocking yellows. Think complementary colors. Color-blocking and pattern-mixing is now in for this fall season! Didn’t think that school lesson on the color wheel would come in handy did you? Pair up the classic black slacks with a neon belt, bag, or jumbo necklace. If you have The Loft, Forever 21, or and H&M in your local area stock up! Colors are in for fall fashion!
Woo Him With A Kiss: The classic red lipstick will never go out of style, but as women of color finding the perfect shade of red can be difficult and the drugstore just doesn’t make the cut. Here’s 1 lipstick for many shades of women. I introduce and re-introduce to some Ruby Woo by MAC Cosmetics $14. A survey conducted by RealBeauty.com showed how this 1 lipstick works on women of all shades. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself. This red lipstick works well on any shade from ivory to olive to ebony.
Spirit Fingers: Ditch the black lacquers, beiges, and dark nail polishes and brighten up your nails with bold colors, prints, patterns, and designs. Spruce up your manicure with bold metallic’s and 3D designs. If you’re a nail addict like I am you’ll take my advice! For a quick and simple manicure, I recommend Sally Hansen Salon Effect Nail Strips $7-$9 at your local drugstore. Or you can simply do-it-yourself free of charge!
Don’t be afraid to play around with patterns, prints and colors this fall and hang up those gloomy black, browns, and grays in the closet for retirement!
I agree bold colors are definitely in right now. Especially adding a colorful accessory such as a belt, jacket or handbag to an otherwise colorless outfit will definitely have you fall ready!!!
