Male names have majorly dominated this competition, but there are a lot of women in this competition who have left their mark.

These women have not only lifted themselves in society but have also helped their fellows also secure a better position. These women have played a vital role in the development of the industry. They have been a source of inspiration for a vast amount of people because of the courageous steps they took.

    1.Sophia Amoruso

    Sophia Amoruso, the founder of Nasty Gel, is an American Businesswomen. She worked as a security guard at the age of 22 and went from stealing in her early childhood to becoming one of the most successful businesswomen in the industry. The New York Times called Sophia Amoruso the “Tech Queen”, and Forbes declared her as one of the wealthiest self-made people. Girlboss movie series was an adaptation from Sophia’s autobiography. Later, in 2014, she started Girlboss Media company which focuses on generating content revolving around a female audience.

    2. Martha Stewart

    From a middle-class background to the director of one of the largest companies of all times, Omnimedia. Martha Stewart is a personality one can always look at for motivation. Martha is not only a retail executive businesswoman but also a former model, writer, and a television personality. Martha has left her name in the business field as well as built a media empire. She is an example of chivalry for all the women out there.

    3.Zica Assis

    Zica Assis is exemplary for all those who consider social stereotypes as their barriers. Zica Assis had naturally curly hair like other Africans, but she went on to open her salon. Assis is the founder of Instituto Beleza Natural. Assis is also one of the top 10 most powerful businesswomen of Brazil. Assis started from the Ghettos of Africa and is now amongst the influential and well-known people of the world. She has set an example for all the women that the social and economic status of a person does not matter if the person is passionate for work.

    4.Cher Wang

    Cher Wang is a Taiwanese businesswoman and a philanthropist. She is the perfect example of how a person can be wealthy but also care and act for their fellow human beings. Wang ranks as 54th among the most powerful women in the world by Forbes. Wang refused to accept the award of HKIAC arbitration and raised voice against the Chinese government using mobile technology chipsets for public surveillance. Wang has been one of those people who knows how to catch a cheater and raise voice against their actions which harm others.
