If you apply it for a couple of minutes a day, every alternate day, it will help your skin to stop producing excess oil and will tone your complexion.

The tea leaves effect

When you make a hot cup of tea next time, be sure to save the used tea leaves. Because these very tea leaves when applied to your facial skin for a few minutes once a week will help give a natural glow to the skin. The process is easy, save the used tea leaves once you drain the water from your kettle. Wait for it to cool down. And then apply it to your face. If you leave it on for too long it may start tingling you, so be sure to leave it on for just a few minutes at a time.

Another way to use used tea leaves is to turn into a natural scrub. Save a potion of the used tea leaves and wash your face with it once every few days. There will be a marked difference in your skin.

The oily skin to pimple effect

Too much oil secretion on the face results in pimples and acne in most people. This is mainly because the oil blocks the pores on the skin. The solution to this is to find the apt face wash (once that has a moisturizing and not drying effect) for the skin. Be sure to wash your face with the face wash at least twice a day, for other times in the day a normal water rinse and wipe technique will help to keep the pores free and will help control the pimple and acne breakout.

Drinking lemon juice has such a refreshing effect on the body; imagine what it does to the skin when applied to it! If you have oily skin then you will need a good skin toner to tone the skin. Instead of buying manufactured products, rub a lemon slice on the skin once every few days, it will refresh you and tone the skin. But be sure to use this tip only once every few days because too much lemon can sometimes dry the skin.

Tomato Puree

Tomatoes make for a great ingredient in cooking delicious dishes. It also helps clean the skin if applied to it. You can either choose to rub a slice of tomato on the skin or make tomato puree and apply it to your skin. It will act like a natural cleanser thus leaving you with clear and soft skin.

Use Cucumbers on your oily skin

It’s not for nothing that spas use cucumbers over a person’s eyes. The main use of cucumber is that it helps cool and relax the body. If you just rub a piece of cucumber over your skin it will refresh your skin and give you a fresh look and glow.
