10 Songs To Bump In the Gym

Not everyone enjoys working out. Lets face it, for some of us, working out can be a complete drag. But, it doesn’t have to be that way. The most important thing to remember is that you can really push through a workout — if you’ve got the right playlist. Studies and research show that exercise combined with the right music can improve endurance and can motivation. Music allows you to feel powerful and allows you to release stress and sweat more. If you’re like me and need some sort of beat to flow through your body while you’re burning calories, then here’s 10 songs you should be bumping while working on your fitness at the gym!

    1. “Stronger” by Kanye West
Like the song says, “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger!” When you hear these words, it should push you to do just that. Working a little harder and pushing yourself to go a little faster will strengthen you both physically and mentally!

    2. “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child
I love Destiny’s Child and when I hear this song it motivates me to keep going and never give up. Queen B has one of the best bodies in the business, so that image alone should keep you going towards your goal.

    3. “Eye of the Tiger”by Survivor
I don’t know about you, but this song always reminds me of all the Rocky movies I’ve watched and how Rocky fought to be the best. With this song, you’ll be feeling victorious at the end of your workout.

    4. “Lose Yourself” by Eminem
I love the message that he speaks about in this song. It makes you want to forget about all your problems and just focus on the goals that you want to accomplish. If Eminem can achieve greatness then you can definitely power through a work out.
    5. “Ima Shine” by Young Bloodz
Every time I hear this song, I think of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan in Step Up. And if you didn’t notice, all of them are  in great shape. Having a good beat to move to and dance to makes you sweat more and want to move more.

    6. “Last Resort” by Papa Roach
If you’re into rock or heavy metal, then I would definitely add this song to your workout list. It’s a song that makes you want to release your anger — perfect for lifting weights or toning up with a punching bag.

    7. “Let’s Go” by Lil Jon
Although the song may have a lot of profanity, having this song on your playlist really gets you going. Get up and let’s go workout. Its hype, it’s loud, and it’s motivates me to want to move.

    8. “Get Up” by Mary Mary
This is for all of you that listen to gospel music or gets inspired by gospel music. The song is great and the video is a workout itself. It’s really a fun and lively song that will keep you energized.

    9. “Crazy in Love” by Beyonce
With this song you’ll attempt to do the booty bounce while you’re running on the treadmill. Don’t be afraid to push a little harder to get to her level of workout.

    10. “Let’s Get it Started” by The Black Eyed Peas
I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to workout to this. The lyrics says it better than I can, “And runnin’ runnin’ and runnin’ runnin’ and runnin’ runnin’ and runnin’ runnin’, so that’s exactly what you should be doing, RUNNING! It’s a great song to jog, run, lift and dance to.
