2015 Bauces to Watch in Music

With the New Year quickly approaching, the promise of good music has us readying our ears and our Spotify playslists. We’ve rounded up a few Bauces that are sure to get some listening attention in 2015. Prepare to become instant fans.

DeJ Loaf

With her hit single “Try Me” already blazing music charts everywhere, DeJ Loaf has some serious rapping chops. The Detroit femcee is the perfect blend of cool and cute, channeling fashion choices reminiscent of a 90s mix of Missy Elliott and Aaliyah. Though hip-hop sweetness may be the first thing that comes to mind upon appearance, DeJ Loaf’s bars prove she’s nothing to mess with. Loaf’s most recent mixtape “Sell Soles” features bangers like “Blood” and “Me U & Hennessy” that are sure to get you jumping.

Rochelle Jordan

Toronto songstress Rochelle Jordan is Canada’s next big thing. The big-haired beauty has been compared to fellow Canadian vocalist Drake by boasting an incredible vocal range and dynamic lyrics. Jordan’s recently released album “1021” has already garnered significant online play. Give “Chain Smoking” and “Follow Me” a listen and you can thank us later.

Ethereal vocals and bohemian-rocker style are the perfect mix to create the artistic cocktail that is FKA Twigs. The singer’s hit track “Video Girl” has already made its way to our iTunes library. We encourage you to follow suit.
