T.I., born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., is looking to turn his life back in the right direction following a recent release from an 11-month imprisonment from a violation of his probation for drug charges. The established rapper teamed up with his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle to start up a new VH1 reality show.
The couple attended the premier of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle at a posh hotel in New York last week.
According to The Boombox, the show will serve as an entertainment platform to the personal life of T.I. and his family, which includes him being open and honest to his kids about his past mishaps, and the fact that Tiny will not tolerate any more screw-ups from her hubby.
“My kids, they know I get in trouble…I mean they haven’t seen drugs, but they’ve heard from the other kids in school about the lifestyle I used to live and we have very candid conversations,” he said.
The idea for the new reality series will be the start for T.I. reclamation of his life, career and family, and we’re behind it 100%.
The show is scheduled to debut tonight at 9 p.m. eastern time on VH1.
